Various products model, design and technology has offered by Apple. Here is one of Apple products; iBook G4 laptop.

apple ibook notebook g4However, Apple’s iBook line discontinued laptops and replaced by a Mac Book or more lines. Apple iBook notebook G4 is designed for students and for education purpose. That’s why the price of iBook is much cheaper than Apple’s PowerBook created.

Here are the specs and features of the Apple iBook Netbook G4:

  • G4 1.33/1.42 GHz
  • M9846LL/A: (Retail $999) 1.33 GHz; 12 in display; 40 GB hard disk; slot-load combo drive (DVD-ROM/CD-RW)
  • M9848LL/A: (Retail $1299) 1.42 GHz; 14 in display; 60 GB hard disk; slot-load SuperDrive (DVD±RW/CD-RW)
  • Both models featured: 512 MB memory (expandable to 1.5 GB) at 333 MHz
  • ATI Mobility Radeon 9550 graphics processor with 32 MB video RAM
  • Scrolling trackpad; Bluetooth 2.0+EDR
  • Both had a bus at a 10:1 ratio (133 MHz or 142 MHz)

As the previous post, Apple has launched MacBook Air in two versions: an 11-inch and a 13-inch.

Here is the the comparison of both models new Apple MacBook Air.

11.6 inch models:

  • Weights 2.38 pounds
  • The base model of this MacBook Air 11-inch will include a 1.6 GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM, and 64GB of flash storage.
  • The more expensive standard configuration also includes a 1.6 GHz processor but upgrades the RAM to 4GB and the storage space to 128 GB.
  • A built to order model will also be available from the online store. This option includes a 1.8 GHz processor (first for an 11.6 inch MacBook Air), 4GB of RAM, and for the first time in an 11.6 inch MacBook Air, 256 GB of flash storage.

13.3 inch models:

  • Weights at just under 3 pounds
  • The base standard configuration of MacBook Air 13-inch includes a 1.7 GHz processor, 4GB of RAM, and 128 GB of flash storage
  • The more expensive standard configuration also includes a 1.7 GHz processor, 4GB of RAM, but upgrades the storage to 256 GB.
  • A built to order option will also be available and this includes a 1.8 GHz chip, 4GB of RAM, and 256 GB of flash storage.

Apple Inc. launched Apple MacBook Air Ultra-portable 13-Inch. As the thinnest laptop Apple’s MacBook Air 13-inch model may be slightly larger but for the extra money it is the better choice. The system is still extremely portable but doesn’t sacrifice as much performance, battery life or storage space. Apple MacBook Air 13-inch delivers a larger display than it’s previous 11-inch version. The Laptop truly is an ultraportable that can double as a primary machine if necessary.
